Date: 24 to 28 April but best to arrive 23 April. 

We start hiking 24th April in morning.

Pre-night (23 April) Shared  basic accommodation ( no meals). Aproximately extra R700 + depending on availability and amount of people sharing.

23 April  2026 (Thursday): 

🚗 Arrival Day. Arrive late afternoon. 

No walking

🛖Overnight in huts in Nature’s Valley at the start of the trail possible 

24 April (Friday) Day1 🥾 Start early 

Distance: 16.7km

Time: 6 hours walking

Elevation gain: 430m

🛖Overnight:  Bloukrans Hut

25 April (Saturday): Day 2 🥾Distance: 13.4km

Time: 5 hours walking

Elevation gain: 480m

🛖Overnight: Keurbos Hut

26 April (Sunday): Day 3 🥾Distance: 13.4km

Time: 5,5 hours walking

Elevation gain: 510m

🛖Overnight: Heuningbos Hut

27 April (Monday) : Day 4 🥾Distance: 14.2km

Time: 6,5 hours walking

Elevation gain: 660m

🛖Overnight: Sleepkloof Hut

28 April: Day 6

👞Exit Storms River

Distance: 3.2km

Time: 1 hour walking

Elevation gain: 40m

No lunch box on the last day

🚗Shuttle back to cars at the end of the hike

🏠Overnight - can drive back home. Normally finishes walkimg around 10h00. Then get shuttle back to cars where we also get our luggage.
