Cape Peninsula offers some of the most spectacular views in the world. The drive itself is an inspiration and passes steep mountains, secluded coves and sweeping beaches, as well as villages and fishing communities.
Start the Cape Peninsula tour with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast, passing through the cosmopolitan suburbs of Sea Point and Camps Bay to Hout Bay, one of Cape Town’s best-kept secrets. Here, you can take a short boat trip to Duiker Island to view the Cape Fur Seals which inhabit the island. From Houtbay drive via the spectacularly beautiful Chapmanspeak Drive. Perhaps stop for a breakfast picnic at one if the picnic sites. Continue to Cape Point, a breathtaking rocky promontory. Visit the light house and the most Southern Western tip of Africa. Return to Cape Town by via Simon’s Town. Be sure to visit the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Walk on Fish Hoek Beach, enjoy an ice-cream. Stroll in the art village of Kalbay before continuing to Cape Town.
Kirstenbosch and The Cape Winelands should perhaps be visited on another day since one day will be to short to enjoy everything.
Day 3 Cycle Chapman’s Peak Drive which is affectionately known by locals as Chappies and is a popular route for runners, hikers, and bikers. The drive is forms an iconic stretch of the Cape Town Cycle Tour, making it a popular route for both professional and amateur cyclists.
Chapman’s Peak Drive ribbons along the Atlantic coastline between Noordhoek and Hout Bay. Considereted my many as one of the world’s most beautiful coastal routes in the world. You decide!
Day 4 Table Mountain iconic!
Day 5 : Hout Bay harbour to Duiker Island the Seal Colony where you can view thousands of wild Cape Fur Seals, close up in their natural habitat. While aboard you are surrounded with breath-taking scenery of the famous Chapmans Peak Drive and the Sentinel.
